As soon as many people hear the word “tithe” they begin to feel some guilt as they remember that they have not paid their tithes for a very long time but in the bible, Christians were told to give cheerfully rather than guiltily, so do you give according to your heart or you give because of the guilt as the preacher condemns those who are yet to pay their tithes?

From a very young age, humans begin to show their nature and some exhibit the signs of irresponsibility very early on. Two brother of age 8 are left alone at home for a few minutes, the taller one goes to steal some candy and when he’s caught, he refuses to be held accountable for his actions but rather blames his twin brother for sending him to steal the candy.

Based on the teachings of Christianity, reaching out to people to spread the gospel is a task for every Christian and Christians are instructed by the teachings in the bible to use every opportunity that presents itself to preach the gospel, truthfully and based on the holy bible. In Nigeria, Christianity has grown rapidly since its introduction into the country by missionaries before the colonial era, and presently, there are more churches in Nigeria than anywhere else in the world. So how is it that the country with the highest number of Christian religious gatherings also is one of the most corrupt countries in the world?
