Some people believe fertility is a gift from god while others disagree. Some believe family planning is necessary while some believe it is a sin to plan your family. Some people believe that you should give birth to as much as you can until it is no longer physically possible while others believe you should have a number and stop as soon as you hit the magic number.
Regardless, childbirth occurs every day around us, some are planned, some occur out of carelessness, and some are miracles. Here, we compile a list of the most fertile women in the world based on Nationality. These figures are based on the number of children a single woman could bear if she lives to the end of her child bearing age and give birth according to the current patterns of child bearing in the country. So here we go.

There have been some debates regarding the rate at which children are born in some countries especially in countries with a high rate of poverty. Based on the list, many of the countries who make up the list of the most fertile women in the world have millions of people in poverty with some countries on the list having as much as 95 per cent of the population living on less than $4.
Nigeria for instance makes the list with six children per woman with about 95 per cent of the population living on less than $4 a day, so how do you support six kids with less than $4 a day? Even if both parents are working, living on less than $8 dollars is still not enough to support six children and this is a problem the governments in these countries need to focus on. They need to educate the public on the problems of giving birth to too many children without having the means to support the children.
Many native religions in Nigeria teach against family planning encouraging wives to give birth to as many children as they can and in some cases, even Christian churches develop doctrines that teach against family planning. As a result, the population is steadily on the increase as so many children are born daily. These families have no means to properly train their kids so they grow up and are unable to make significant contributions to the growth of the economy, creating a cycle of poverty.
There is nothing wrong with having many children as long as you are financially capable to support the children however when you already struggle to provide your basic needs, getting another child is unfair as children born into poverty had no choice but they are born and they suffer for the most part of their lives. Family planning is necessary, so don’t forget and please leave your comments below. Cheers.
